Description

Hello,

I am encountering a weird one in Ingen (latest git just pulled today)
I have a patch saved as Bass.ingen.

If the parent folder is called "Sound Library" and I tried to load the patch, Ingen crashes with a seg fault:

blablack@igorito:~/Sound Library/Bass.ingen$ ingen -eg main.ttl
Loaded configuration /home/blablack/.config/ingen/options.ttl
Loading server module
Set SSE denormal-are-zero and flush-to-zero flags
Loading gui module
Replacing old link /tmp/ingen.sock => /tmp/ingen.sock.11222
Listening on unix:///tmp/ingen.sock
Listening on TCP port 16180
Loading jack module
Connected to default Jack server
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

If the parent folder is called "SoundLibrary?" (no space), all fine:

blablack@igorito:~/SoundLibrary/Bass.ingen$ ingen -eg main.ttl
Loaded configuration /home/blablack/.config/ingen/options.ttl
Loading server module
Set SSE denormal-are-zero and flush-to-zero flags
Loading gui module
Replacing old link /tmp/ingen.sock => /tmp/ingen.sock.13103
Listening on unix:///tmp/ingen.sock
Listening on TCP port 16180
Loading jack module
Connected to default Jack server
Loading file:///home/blablack/SoundLibrary/Bass.ingen/main.ttl from /home/blablack/SoundLibrary/Bass.ingen/main.ttl
Loaded 347 plugins
Activated Jack client `ingen'
Registering client <ingen:/clients/sig>
Put for unknown subject <ingen:/engine>
Saved GUI settings to /home/blablack/.config/ingen/gui.ttl
Deactivated Jack client
Saved configuration to /home/blablack/.config/ingen/options.ttl

Weird thing is, all other combinations I tried works!:

  • "Some Test" (spaces)
  • "Some Test 123456789" (Space and longer than "Sound Library")

but "Song 3 Extra" works, but "Song 3 - Extra" doesn't.

Kind Regards,
Aurélien
